Carney was dismissed by brexxers for saying it would be a disaster. He got that right and is getting it right with this disaster induced election. Good to see a measured intelligent human in power who isn’t a bombastic ego that over inflates his own abilities and importance. You have to admire the political strategy behind calling the snap election in terms of seeing off the right wing. Starmmer is doing the same in the lead up to the local elections, and might be much more successful than people think.
