Mask wearing does help reduce community transmission

I don’t know if it’s all hospItals, but as of 1st June 2022, it is no longer compulsory to wear a mask, even in critical care wards, you only have my word, but I was there on Saturday.
i wonder if they are managing to segregate the infected. My wife has attended one for checks etc a couple of times very recently. Everyone gets a mask to wear. The usual surgical type. The MHS has mentioned keeping people apart, probably staff too.

Local vets - maybe it got in. Notice on the door - go away if you are not wearing a mask. Barriers are still up in many shops, some workers seen wearing masks at times. Fewer customers wearing them.

Perhaps the gov wants >60% herd immunity - the real thing.

Saying Boris, Boris, Boris etc in this area is daft. It's the advisors.

That's one hell of a blip considering the downward trend.
Really?

Back track a bit and you'll see there were bigger 'blips'...

And yet wrecking the economy (on top of an already declining self inflicted collapse) didn't happen in the past...

Why not?

Many people, particularly those in the public sector, are keen on keeping covid going because it means lots of time off and money for nothing!

Are those really people, a friend describes them as selfish humanoid animals. I tend to agree with her,

How many? Or are you just making things up again?
He is just another person that doesn't understand the relationship between covid, treatment and death.

He also doesn't for some reason understand the effects of covid transmission in hospitals.

Info on more deaths due to areas like heart attacks and strokes and associated problems is probably already available. Cancer is far more tricky. It's looked at in terms of survival time after treatment.

Yes. In context it's actually massive.
You obviously have a problem with the concept of 'massive'...

Care to comment on the 'massive' implications as to the economy and other healthcare issues?

After all we now have a 'massive' debt that will never be paid, and a 'massive' number of people waiting for treatments because of the measures taken to combat a 'virus'....

Nothing can be more proof that covid was a scam than the overall death figures for the covid period (*). They were not much higher than normal, and were definitely no greater than certain other recent high-death years. I pointed this out around a year ago, after we had suffered covid fascism for over a year. Actually, it wasn't me that pointed it out; it was IT Minion (before I "cancelled" him!). He was laying on the covid nazi spiel thickly about how you need evidence for your arguments and so I asked him to compare the death statistics from during the covid period with deaths from other recent years. This he duly did, and ended up red-faced.

* The other most telling event was Boris and all the other politicians drinking and socialising after they had told us not to. This showed the disease was nothing to be scared of for the overwhelming majority.

Not especially no. That graph is very telling.

Nothing new.
