Megaflo dripping discharge pipe

I had a similar problem recently. The expansion PRV was leaking. I took it off and tested it, and found it opened at it's set pressure of 8 bar. This was on a new combination valve. I changed the expansion valve, having tested the new one, and exactly the same thing happened. I don't know how I cured it, but with a couple of times opening the valve, it eventually stopped leaking.

If anyone knows the answer I'm interested.

If it's the 8 Bar PRV on the cold supply that's dripping, it's nothing to do with re-genning the air bubble.

A replacement PRV cartridge is available from the manufacturers - relatively cheap. However, last time I had this problem, it was the valve seating in the cast valve body that was damaged and the cartridge made no difference. Replacement valve body not cheap!
