Most 300 li cyinders are just a bit taller than the 210 and not much wider.
Water is stored at 60 C and if incoming water is 10 C then 50-50 will give you just 35 C which will feel decidedly cool.
I would always recommend a storage capable of providing the peak demand without relying on reheating. While reheating the water there will normally be no heating output available so the house will become noticeably cool after a few showers.
