Memories of products from the 70's....

1970 i had moved from scotland [aged 16] as my dad a train driver [fireman]had been relocated to redhill surrey as with the end of the steam trains and with beeching branch lines where shut and drivers [firemen relocated] :D :D

i remember all the the things like "white galaxy "ect ;)

an they had loads of very scary an weird kids dramas on too..about witchcraft an ghosts an children getting snatched by cults ,lol

an not forgetting the public information shows , with the cartoon lad an his cat charlie ,dont go off with strange men an charlie always giving it the big meow at the end ,
+ Actor ones remember the jimmy saville one ,
one very spooky one about the dangers of playing near still ponds an water ,gave me nightmares very strange ,lol

the only thing i could think of from the 70s (yes my generation too) that was Brit/Eng/UK.......Yardley frosted lipstick in the striped metal tube...

we still have Charlie perfume
and Paddington Bear on Saturdays

had no idea you'd know/remember those. takes me back to hip huggers and peasant blouses.....anything with fringe and hemp bags.

i cant remember tv shows right off.....but i do remember when there werent remotes and you had to fill an ice tray and you heated the oven for cheese toast and if you wanted hot chocolate, you made it the old fashioned way (still the best)

Mostly correct, but didn't know my wife then although would like to have seen her in the hot-pants I know she wore.
 
I had two elder sisters ,one was into the gypsy look , the other was a hippy chick ,lol

an it was the start of the Tv Dinners where the food was cooked an frozen in a tray an set out like airline food , you heated them up in the oven ,no microvaves then ,lol

does anyone remember Brains Frozen Faggots ..lol
