Would anyone care to guesstimate exactly how many Met Police firearms officers have handed back their AFO tickets???

Not really.

Say, haven’t they asked your shooting instructor, the one that invented and presented the double tap method of dispatch to the SAS to help out in the current shortage? Or even called on you with a couple of your 1000rpm machine guns, what with you being one of the very few private gun owners in the U.K. to be licensed to hold such lethal weapons?

This is a "there but for the grace of God go I" situation

Unless they thought they'd have blanket immunity from prosecution, they surely must have known this is an occupational "hazard" intrinsically linked to their job (shooting people)?

Have they handed them back in support of their colleague (who is reported to be standing trial for murder)?
I reckon a lot have. Wasnt there a similar case last year, year before that where a large number did this until grey areas were cleared up.

It must always be in their minds that they are going to seriously FU & get it wrong, & that must be a part of their training. But what little we know about this case just does not make sense. I feel the more we know the less it will make sense..

This is not a new scenario for AFO's, they have been reassured that "we have your backs", yet 1 of 'em is currently up for murder . . . .

Your MSM is full of the usual nonsense. How many do you think have handed back their tickets . . . . ?

Well that shows how little you know about my source, why are you asking the Q anyway or is it pointless.

I understand that it is 100 of 2500.
The suspect was driving a vehicle that was not registered to them.
Therefore any speculation about alleged criminal records is questionable as apparently the driver was unknown.

Apparently military personal May be deployed ?? To cover for those officers that have handed in there fire arms ???

Special Ops Dork should be getting the call up any day now then. If his whereabouts are currently unknown, it can just be addressed to ‘T'big man, ‘t’pub, t'village'. That’ll reach him no problem. ;)
