But if water is coming out, but it is not getting hot, and it is supposed to use electricity to heat it- Do you not agree the electricity could play a part in why it is not working?

no because the water pressure is not activating the pressure switch
to activate the micro switch which will close the circuit for the heating elements.

As above, I would work with the plumber (if one is there, and can speak in plain english) on site to solve the problem.

but the op fitted and commissioned the shower not a plumber

Due to advice from many people on this brilliant website I found a solution to my shower not working

so what did you do ?

I turned the pressure reduction valve from 0.9 to about 1.7. Noisier pipes around the house so may experiment with optimum level tomorrow. But I have a result.

does the shower have any indicator lights on it, e.g. half/full power/overheat/pressure ?

if so, what do they tell you?

i guess the horse has bolted now, but did you notice this comment?
