Looking at these for our new kitchen, I guess it's more "windows and doors" than any other section.

It's about 3m², covering the entire wall.

Hob is induction so presumably don't need heat resistant. It seems to be 6mm, presumably any strengthening will just be dictated by it's size?

Are optional easy cleaning coatings worth adding?

Any suggestions for suppliers (I'll do the fitting), there's a place in Stockport not far from me that seems to be a fair bit cheaper that many others?

Fwiw the socket directly above the hob has to,go and the one to the right needs relocating further to the right.

I’ve come across mirrors used in kitchens, especially narrow kitchens and they can be very effective

Not sure exactly what you are saying but all I can say is you will regret installing mirrored glass as a splashback as it will forever be looking and showing all the -- well-- splashback

I won't regret it - as I'll have a happy wife! The hob is a long narrow 3 ring only 400mm deep so will be quite far away, I might run a length of worktop upstand along as well which I think would improve matters.

Yes. Electrics all temporary.

400mm - it will still get messy. And if you put an upstand your are then creating extra stuff for dirt greases to settle on and extra angles and such for cleaning.
