Doesn't matter what we think, doesn't matter if we think it's right or wrong, this sort of strategy re ICE vehicles will continue. And as we've discussed in other threads on here, there are other factors that will play a part in making ICE vehicle ownership more and more arduous e.g. decreasing fuel stations. Who knows, in 'the interests of the environment' there might even be a two tier pricing structure for things like insurance, road tax (or road pricing if tax gets dropped.)

Not to mention greedy councils want to charge you to park according to the emissions. The clever council employees might need to have it explained to them that a parked car doesn’t produce much in the way of emissions.

On a personal level I've been involved on a late 60's mgb in France. It's a bitser, so modified. All the authorities were OK with it. It's in use still.

You can build a car anywhere you want in Europe.

So where is your accurate list of where it is impossible.

Oh it’s a modified car than that has been registered on the road before than ?

Modified how ? During restoration ? So perhaps you have put a V8 rover engine in it ? Or you put different brake callipers on it that sort of modification
