Just some more questions about using plastic pipe work I have been reading on the Internet about pros and cons of both and im still none the wiser?
Will plastic connect securely to brass compression fittings?
If so surely this would be more secure than standard push fit.
Also can it be taken direct to a rad valve without the need for a copper tail?
When running rads can they all be individually run to a central point and connected to a manifold type system thus making all joints accessible?
What (if any) is the difference between
BPEX Barrier
BE-X Barrier pipe
Polybutylene pipe

If using the manifold approach then 10mm might make life easier as it's much easier to thread through holes in joists and you won't need any joints, sometimes 15mm just won't bend enough when you need it to, and you'll end up with a lot of pipes around the manifold anyway. Use white pipe if you're taking it all the way to the rads, it looks much nicer than grey.

Thanks all for your comments
So with that in mind do you think that system would be better than copper?
