MOSQETO REPELANT

I was on the Isle of Skye last summer where the mozzies have for thier own full set of teeth, and i was told that all the big rough, tough fishermen have started using an Avon product called "Skin so Soft". Its supposed to be a dry oil body spray (according to the bottle). I tried it and it seems to work. Not long after i got home there was an article in the paper saying how all the Royal Marines in Faslane were using it too. Maybe its worth a try.

I bet they make up new labels for the bottles saying "Tough Man Skin Hardener"

AAAAAARGH....just got a whopper of a bite on my leg......little gits got me before I'd lathered up.

Australian brand RID is supposed to be excellent...full of nasty chemicals.... . Also read that Avon's Skin so Soft is worth a try.

I think you might have to do more than pee on a MofW sting to help you ,the best thing to do is not swim while the are in the area :)

50% DEET from boots; lotion or spray
it's in silver coloured packaging

and 1% hydrocortisone cream to ease the itch when they do getcha
and possibly some antihistamines if you react badly to the bite
