Most pointless tool?

If you have space around the nuts you can't beat the largest one of these you have in one hand

And a 12" one of these in the other

Sometimes you have to take the whole lot off to outside and then after a little time with one of these

They undo with the greatest of ease.

If has to be done in situ and all else fails then the nuts are designed to be renewed without removal of union, so all good plumbers have one of these

if fitted with the highest quality blade available to man it is a formidable tool. With the original blade wouldn't cut plastic properly.

But that wrap over nut is a complete pile of pooh a waste of weight in the van.

Unfortunately my colleagues who install usually place pumps and valves in places where they wouldn't like to go back and change them. But since most customers "can never get the installer back" that's not their worry.
