Moving Bathroom Extractor from Light Switch to Own Switch

Well, it can stay where it is - but if you are certain which one it is you could move it into COM with the link wire

Moving it would make the terminal it is in now less congested.
Thanks, all done but fan just seems to remain on constantly now

Ignore that, if I turn off at isolation switch and then back on it stays off....but the new switch doesnt turn it on when i press it unless it has a temp shutdown period after turning it off and I need to wait a few minutes

It will run on with its timer. Have you waited long enough after switching off?

Not sure about "temp shutdown" - see how it goes.

So it stayed off, but nothing happens when I try to turn it on with the switch.

Humidistat still works though as just tested that. I just want to the option to manually turn the fan on. Maybe I should give it half an hour and see if the switch turns it on then
