Hi
I'm removing a wardrobe built over the stair bulkhead in our box bedroom. I've always avoided doing anything with electrics. But this seems such a straightforward job I was going to do it myself
There is a double socket on the stud partition wardrobe wall that I'm removing. This needs to be moved back onto the other wardrobe wall, about 3 ft. Cables length isn't an issue as they're fed down from attic and socket will be repositioned much higher on the wall. So I'm going to disconnect all power (mains and all) remove backbox, reinstall on other wall, pull cable up and refeed down though new ceiling holes and reconnect as was
That seems like a lot of words for what is a straightforward job
