The company I work for has just competed a very large domestic water system. 3 year job with literally 10s of thousands of joints and fittings using the Geberit Mepla system, without 1 leak or weep. Its a press fit system but is unusual in that the pipe is pressed over the male spigot of the fitting. The fitters love it because it bends like copper, can be cut and prepped with special shears and is rigid and light and a joint takes around 5 seconds. It can be used on domestic water and heating and the rep said it has a minimum of 50 year life span. Any of you guys used it? Here is some links if anyone is interested?
