I saw a bloke on the BBC saying he is a muslim from some muslim organisation. He was very angry and saying "How dare these extremists hijack Islam and advocate violence in Allah's name". The BBC didn't introduce him properly and cut him off mid-sentence.

1. the media whip this all up 'cus it makes news and sells papers. Not even the so-called impartial BBC let the moderate have his voice.

2. So there are moderate muslims, and I know (and have studied) that Islam does not condone what we see in the press. The boss-muslim scholars say that the extremists view of Islam is grossly distorted; they say that Islam is in crisis. Fair enough. So surely they are not doing enough to stop the extremists?

Very true BAS, but the trouble with this one is they say they do it because of their religion and in the name of their religion because their religion says they must.

So their is something in their religion which is totally wrong and needs sorted out or banning.

There are "Christians" in the USA who have murdered doctors because they carried out abortions.

Pray tell me the mentality here, what has that got to do with what we are talking about?
