Very nice.

Shame you didnt chase in the pipes for the sink in the bathroom.

Have you seen the new staircases Burbridge are doing ? the ones with the glass panels and satin chrome fittings.

Fusion still looks quite contemporary though.

I totally forgot about it...

Your so right tho...

I have no use a piece of square white trinking to hide the pipes...

Covers them up but it would have looked so much better if I did chase them into the walls, I really messed up there...

Cant find any pictures of the new staircase there doing tho...

Just tried googleing them and nothing came up...

Will probably have to order the brochure again...

Have put in new double gazing so the style of windows is the general white plastic UPVC standard windows, also painted the front of the house and put some new lights up...

Pictures to follow...

This looks a good project, the bathroom looks spot on. I'm currently rehashing a house but my patience is wearing thin, I'm in that stage where you can only see broken up floorboards and nothing else :( But well done to you for sticking through, redevelopment especially at this time of credit crunch isn't easy.

How's the work coming along?

Great wide angle. How do you achieve that? :)

I take it you mean the pictures...

I used a wide angle lens...

There really not that expensive, I think I got mine for abou £30 a few years ago, they really make the picture's go further...

Hi Screwfix
Many people have looked your Hall Way, Bathroom and Drawing room and I too like dome Hall way because its color combination is great. I want to see more pictures of your second house.

Hi...

Thankyou for your kindo words...

However I am to skint to buy my second house and am still in the first one...

Who knows, maybe one day...

This is the brick wall in my house...

It was covered on plaster, then layers of paint and wallpaper over the years...

I took all the plaster off, sanded down the wall, washed it down too, then varnished it...

Hi, The wall, was that your own original idea,or something you have seen.

Regarding the stairs, are they the old ones stripped, if so how did you get the wood to look so new, well done.

The stairs are old...

They were covered in carpet, they also had several coats of paint on them over the years by the previous owner...

I took the carpet off and sanded down the stairs, sanding took ages...

once the sanding was done I used batons on the underneath of the stairs to give the stairs more strengh...

Once this was done I sprayed the entire staircase with linseed oil, this was to stop the stairs creeking so much and to also put some oil back in the wood...

Once that was done I varnished the stair case and put knew bannisters on...

Hi, The wall, was that your own original idea,or something you have seen.

The wall was an idea I had in mind...

I have seen walls like this in show rooms and thought it looked really good...

I was going to do the whole room with the walls but I think it would have looked tacky, so i only did the one wall in contrast...
