But you did. If you rest a hot dish on the door would it crack or shatter? If it cracked when you or the boss is in the middle of a big roast what would you do? How much would it cost to replace? Particularly in the day?After a month or so of use, a couple of observations.
Two ovens: Apart from the fact that we’ve only used the bottom oven once so far (always use the smaller top one), Mrs Mottie pointed out that (a) I paid extra for the 'slide and hide' oven door and then (b) Because there was nowhere to place the tray when basting roast potatoes or meat or whatever, I then paid extra for some special slide out tray runners! I didn't think of that..
