Where can I buy a new fan board from and roughly what's the cost?

cant I pull the connector apart male/female?

yes as long as the power is off of course.

If I could work out how to include a photo of this part on here, would you be able to tell for sure if this is the board that needs replacing?

its unlikely to be "burnt out" if thats what you are getting at. from experience if the fan is stalling as you say and i had tested the fan wiring as i said above then its the fan board. if you are getting the correct voltage to the fan and the fan motor winding is showing as open circuit then its clearly the fan. i would be cautious as im not 100% sure on your fault finding.
