I have been using NAVMII as an alternative to a sat nav for some years now, but have found that in the battery monitor app in Android, it always shows as a very high battery drain.
Nothing unusual there, of course. GPS is known to be a heavy user of battery power. However, having ended the route navigation, turned off GPS and turned off the NAVMII software, there is still a large proportion of the general battery use (60% or more) indicated in the battery monitor. Even after having recharged the phone two or three times to full, it still remains.
I am assuming this indicates that, for some reason, the app is still drawing power from the battery. Or is it, perhaps, one of the known vagaries of the Android battery monitor?
Has anyone else encountered this? Does anyone have an explanation or a solution?
