Brilliant, i'd like to do this, but my bath doesn't have anywhere at the top for the PVC to slot into? just a gap back to where the bath shapes downwards etc.
The only fixing points are where the clips for the existing panel are attached to small blocks (maybe glued in place)

I think you would have to use silicone to bond it up to the back edge of the bath lip

Drill through the lip and the UPVC sections, and use stainless steel self tappers to fix the upper end.

It needn't, and some trim could be added to hide the screws.
