Hi all i am in dire need of some assistance to get the other half off my back.
Bought a Nest thermostat last week to connect to my Ideal Logic 24 boiler. I removed the EPH T17 programmer and wired up the Nest Heatlink as per diagram on page 34 of the manual also known as "switched live" set up. I had live (brown) and Neutral (blue) cables correct but there is a 3rd wire coming from the boiler coloured black that i am confused about. I didnt connect this one and switched on the mains. The heatlink powered up and the boiler switched on but the burner refused to kick in no matter what i did with the thermostat. Has anyone any advice on how to fix this as i know i am pretty close.
many thanks
Pete (desperate in Dublin)
