Hi there,
We had Nest at our old house and really liked it. The setup was simple there though: It replaced one existing thermostat and programmer.
Our new place has an existing Honeywell setup as follows:
* A simple on/off programmer next to the boiler downstairs that controls the hot water. This is wired.
* One CM707 thermostat / programmer downstairs that controls one heating zone zone. This is wired, and about 10 feet away from the first programmer.
* One portable wireless thermostat / programmer that controls a second heating zone. The receiver for this is upstairs next to the Megaflo.
The 'like for like' install would hint as having three (!) Nests, which one being a bit wasted as it would only control hot water.
Is it possible to rewire things to have two Nests instead, with one handling hot water and one zone, and the other doing the remaining zone?
