I have heard from a very reliable source that "the country is rife with cowboy traders and they're coming to a town near you" if tommy takes my advice he should be able to weed out the cowboys from the genuine tradesmen.

and my pricing up of a bathroom job like that i would estimate double that time considering 80% of the time i work on my own.
no one ever mentioned 2 men on the job or getting another contractor in.
so he's getting £1800 - say £300 for elecy = £1500 ÷ 8 days £187.50 ÷ 2 men = £93.75 day.
