It may be no better than a combi, as it all depends on the pressure/flow of the mains. It also runs out of hot water, unlike a combi. If a one bath place, I would go for an Intergas combi. Then you release space taken up by a cylinder. With a cylinder you also have more complex, and expensive, when they go wrong, pressure controls on the cylinder. And also complex control with diverter valves on the CH side.

You are right but I have 3 bathrooms and just replaced the main with a fresh 25mm to help getting more water in
I would avoid Victorian plumbing like the plague, their after sales service is absolutely shocking should you need anything

Some others on here that do lots of plumbing will recommend some for you, I had a customer order a really expensive towel rail from them, when I went to fit it two of the holes or the fixing studs had never been tapped, she called constantly for months to get a replacement and they came up with different excuses constantly, the poor woman was killed about 6 months after buying it, her daughetr wanted the house finished so she called them and explained her mother had been killed and they said as she wasnt their customer they couldt deal with her
Oh very sad story. Feel sorry for them.

I've had some very good deals from Plumbworld, but I only buy good brands from them, unless it's something trivial like a toothbrush holder. When you have something in mind, or know you will need it, it's worth a look.

Agreed, used them a few times.
I have to admit when doing up my whole house 12 years ago I bought some cheap stuff as the money was tight.
Vanity unit, basin and mirror cost next to nothing with a discount and also a cheap generic shower enclosure. They are still going strong although the enclosure could do with a new seal.
BTW when the enclosure was delivered the side panel was smashed and in bits. I sent a photo of the damage and received anew one in a few days.
Very wise.
Three bathrooms with baths is another matter, then stored water is a prime option. But with only three showers and no baths, still a high flowrate combi with Raindance mixers can do it. How often will all three be on at once? Rare in a house. Still worth assessing when only showers.
If I had three showers and no baths, I would put a high flow combi with Raindance showers as top of the options. Keep it simple and cheaper.
Got 2 shower and 1 bath but you are right, it`s rare that they will be used all three at once. I decided for a cylinder because the drop in pressure is not when using 2 bathroom but kitchen and bathroom together which really annoy me. Hopefully the cylinder will sort it out.
It is a myth that an unvented cylinder will deliver more than a combi. It all depends on the mains water flow and pressure for both cylinder and combi. If a combi can delver the hot water levels it will act exactly like an unvented cylinder.
With a 25mm mains pipe you should be OK, but only if the internal pipes are designed and sized properly. Having one cold water main pipe with all sanitary appliances inc' unvented cylinder teed off it will under perform.
Keep in mind that an unvented cylinder needs an annual service, and when parts fail then they are very expensive to replace. I consider them a last resort, preferring simple vented DHW thermal stores, still having mains pressure - unfortunately most jobbing plumbers have not a clue what they are.
A problem with stored water is that if a bath is run off it may be a quite a time for another shower to be used as it will run cold. You can always have a lager cylinder, but more, expense, standing losses and space taken up.
Look at a Viessmann 111 stored water combi. Will fill a bath fine, but never run out of DHW. And takes up less space.

Analysis is different to opinion. He has many options to choose from. To the OP, the last on the list should be a stand alone unvented cylinder. You have two showers and one bath - a high flow combi will do that as it is rare all three will be on at once. To be sure the likes of a Viessmann 111 will cover all bases - just a once a year combi service with service cover covering the 111. Viessmann are quality products. Others also do stored water combis.
