Yes serious can't see any thing wrong with having an approx price before you start getting quotes (might soften the blow)
I cannot see anything wrong either but there are of course several variables!
Well I would usually charge £840 plus the cost of the boiler which for a good one like an intergas is about £970.
In your area it might be a little cheaper but make sure cleaning the system is properly included.
