The redundancy came as no real shock, the company I had been employed by had been struggling for awhile. They ended up getting stuffed by a company that owed them plenty but were failing to cough up.
So they went into insolvency, I got 23 years of redundancy money, they still owe me 12 weeks notice and I understand I can claim for wrongful dismissal.
So time for a change, I have a few trades behind me, so can turn my hand, busy with electrical installations at the moment and got a good sized plastering job coming up.
I use a 230v/800w for the plaster mixing has speed control on it, does the job great, only a cheapo drill, £30 if I remember right, has no problem mixing up full bags.
