Hi
I had my new build house professionally snagged.
Among the pickups was the height / location of the gas box on the outside of the house.
I have read the 500mm guide.
However, its about 20cm from the drive tarmac.

Taylor Wimpey saying it's fine according to the site service provider company.
Thought please

I am in the house, and they have just supplied an email saying it is ok, from GTC
- GTC is part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, the leading provider of multi-utility networks in the UK, employing more than 2000 people and operating networks serving more than two million homes.

A photo would help but the utilities supplier, their agent or authorised installer would not have gone ahead if they were in doubt.

A photo would help as their are different types of boxes.

Ordinarily you'd fit them at a convenient reading height unless constrained. I see no issues with it being closer to the ground though.
