New laminate worktops and plinths chipped after cutting - expected?

Blimey that's rough as guts, you would have to work hard to get a result like that.
Don't part with any money until you are totally happy with everything,your not out of the woods yet ,the boss hired the incompetent
so it doesn't say much for him
