I'm doing a reconfiguration downstairs and will be looking to put new radiators in to add a couple more but to replace the existing ones too.
The existing rads have all the pipework laid in the concrete floor currently. The only new rad pipework that can be above the floor is the rad at the very top of the plan. The rest will have to go under the concrete floor (due to doorways) and then under the timber floor at the bottom of the plan to feed those rads (floor boards will be up so can be run along joists)
What is the best way to tackle the runs to each radiator starting from where the pipework starts coming down from upstairs and which size pipe should l use as some of the run is quite long on the bottom of the plan.
I want to use speedfit or similar for all if that is viable.
How would you guys tackle this?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
