New shower - sealant not sealing...

did you weigh the tray down while sealing and until the sealant had set. you need to do this because when you stand on the tray for a shower you will push the tray down slightly and the sealant will peel off it!

What planet are you on? I have never once seen or used this method for a shower tray.

don't get me wrong, a shower tray will move depending on a number of factors but what you are suggesting is over the top and is certainly not the cause.

As Richard C suggests its likely to be the type of product used and the preperation.
