I bought a Mafell track saw a couple of years ago. It's not had a great deal of use and then only on kitchen fitting and sheet cutting. I'm disappointed that the blade is already struggling on 25mm thick sheet.

What's the best recommendation for a replacement blade?

Your near the maximum depth cutting 25mm
Can't you make 3 passes and put less strain on blade?

The Mafell has a depth setter which goes up to 50mm so it should be able to take 25mm MDF ok.

Any recommendations on blade manufacturers?

Another vote for Saxton. Chipboard, MDF and that other rubbish stuck together wood that I cannot remember the name of (OBS or something) does play havoc with circular saw blades blunting them quite quickly.

Nice saw. Although I have a Festool plunge saw, I am envious of yours.

I suspect that the kitchen end panels may have knackered the blade.

An alternative is to get your current blade reground.

I do know a few guys that use Freud blades. I cannot comment on the Saxton ones but their multicutter blades (oscillating saw) are fine.

If you get a new blade, won't you need to replace/adjust the anti-splinter guide on the underside of the rail?

I use freud.
They last longer than any other blade I tried, so the few extra quids are justified.
And the cuts are super sharp.
