Maybe because he is reported as saying that "He branded the honours committee "unappreciative c***s" and added that he "didn't care about being knighted"?

This 'honours' system is a load of BS anyway...

Reward the political/business types and disguise it with a few hand outs to the people who actually deserve recognition...

The real honours list is made up of those who have refused to comply with this sanctimonious back slapping exercise!
