NICEIC electrician produces certificate years after job

The NICEIC told me there was. I was categorically told by their customer services that NICEIC members must forward a copy of the certificate to them within 7 days of the certificate being issued.

Either they are right or they are wrong. Obviously I don't work in the industry so I can only go by what professional bodies tell me.

Maybe they're talking about Building Regulations notification.

Being with the NICEIC I can confirm that you have 28 days from completion of job to notify them of a job, no certificates are required for this, I suppose you dont even have to do one but certs/reports are inspected on annual inspection.
