Hi People, Is there anyone there that can help ???????
I have a six year old Britony 100 fanned flue combination boiler, run on mains gas.
During the summer the central heating side of the boiler hasn't been used (due to the good weather, i wish) but the hot watter side has been in constant use, and has shown no problems.
Today I switched on the central heating, only to find it not working. Further investigation showed that:
1. The pressure is fine at 1.5 Bars
2. The pump is running smoothly
3. The fan is working
4. The boiler ignites for up to 30 seconds before it stops
5. I can make the boiler re-ignite for a short time by increasing the radiator dial at the front of the boiler
6. The pipe leading to the three way valve heats up as does the pipe connected to the pump
I have checked all electrical connections, and they seem sound........
Any ideas ???????
