Have you tried a manual override? I think it may be the button on the receiver, push it in and see if that does anything.
I tried pressing the small black button on the receiver, the light tunred off for about a minutes, then cam bakc to the same situation. I tried using the "reset" feature on the boiler itself, but no difference
You said combi boiler - have you checked the pressure in the system?
The pressure is about 3 bars, with a maximum of 4
That won’t affect the thermostat not pairing up though
As I said, I genuinely beleive the receiver and the thermostat are now in sync, because the light do react 5/10 seconds after I touch the thermostat ( constant red light when I set the temperature high, or frequent red flash when i set it to low, so it seems like the receiver is pick up on that. I made a video to show what I mean)
No matter what i do the boiler itsef stays on "0" (unless i turn on a tap for ot water, then it dispaly a hot water demand for a bit)
Is it possible that some of the valves are not set up right?
Once again, thank you so much to everyone helping and taking the time to reply, this is highly apprecaited.
I had to go buy a hot water bottle today as the nights are getting very cold without heating.
