No Hot or Cold water!

I have recently moved House and am now experiencing some odd goings on with the water flow.

The House has an old 'E Type' Boiler and Cylinder with cold tank in the loft.

The problem is that when I have run a Bath (a FULL Bath) all the water upstairs stops flowing (sink, Bath, Toilet). This lasts for about an hour or so. I presume that the tank in the loft is desperately trying to refill the Cylinder? Not sure though?

Is there anything I can do about this?

Will this cause me problems as I intend to install a power shower at some point in the future?

when the water stops you will have to get in the loft and check if the tank is empty.

if your mains pressure is good it could be a faulty ball valve. or your cold tank is too small if this is the case you will need to make alterations if you want a power shower.
