No hot water from biolermate2+makes buzzing noise

Ok the mixer valve does seem to be the problem, thanks for that folks. How easy is it to replace it?? Is it just a case of closing the valve on the inlet and taking the old one out or would i have to shut the system down completely and drain the tank, or is it something that i should defiantly not attempt myself??

You'll manage it. Just turn off the mains cold supply, then open a cold tap downstairs and one upstairs. You can then uncouple the valve and catch the small of water in a bowl or towel.

There might be a lot of play in the pipework, so undo all three joints before trying to remove the valve, and get each nut started on the new valve before doing any of them up tight.

Make sure you get new washers with the new valve. If Gledhill is willing to sell you one direct then it will be cheaper than getting it from a merchant.

Cheers that seems well within my capabilities will give it a go, thanks again to everyone. Martin

it'll take longer to calibrate than it will to fit - but makes sure you have two large pairs of pumpliers/adjustable spanners - the nuts can be a bug ger to undo.
