How many times have we heard derogatory posts aimed at 'remoaners' on here?

Does the same standard apply?

Too many times, both ways. You calling them and me dumb quitters, brexshiteers..... turns any conversation into a slanging match.

Would you honestly sing

Its not an EU institution, but:

The EU and Council of Europe systems are intertwined because the ECHR lies behind many of the general principles of EU law and its provisions have been used as a basis for the EUs Charter of Fundamental Rights because the EU as a legal order is required to join up to the ECHR Council of Europe as a new member

Whats really confusing, ECHR is an institution of the Council of Europe. Centre is in Strasbourg, who else has offices there.....

Don't forget that our membership of the Council of Europe (which, BTW we helped to found, and to which we have belonged since day 1 of its founding in 1949), and therefore having ratified the European Convention on Human Rights, give us obligations and provisions in law.
