Pretty certain and was that film not before sidneys film ?
She played a maid in the film ??

Correct. He was the first black American actor to win an oscar, Hattie McDaniel the actress was the first black American to win an oscar.

well yes and no tbh

I thought that since every thing went PC some while back , that the word actress was no longer in use

they are all actors now irrespective of there sex ?
