I've decided to invest in an OBD scanner that does more than my Aldi source code reader. I want one that supports ABS.

Having looked across YT, I came across this TOPDON product.

Comments welcome please.

I can’t comment on that one, but I use Foxwell by Gendan automotive and brilliant they are too.
Likewise, good backup, updates if need be and technical help by telephone.
Many scanners are becoming manufacturer specific unfortunately but you’ll find what you need.

I use an otofix d1, it's a clone of autel units, it's a bit more than the one you linked to but is a good bit of kit, I use mine for all sorts but I spend alot of my spare time messing on with cars

The Topdon ArtiDiag800BT is a higher spec compared to the 600 I linked to above and well reviewed on YT. It has life time free updates.

Have sent an inquiry to see if it supports 2003/04 cars.

The update prices can be a deal breaker really if its just light diy use so if you could get free uodates that makes a big difference.
Obviously you dont have to update most tools for them to continue working.
I have a Foxwell and an Icarsoft and my dad has an Autel, they are all pretty good to be fair but if i needed another id look at the Topdon stuff.
The stuff on Amazon worries me as a lot of it is cloned.
