Offset wall unit

Evening, I have a kitchen wall unit that needs to be installed 240mm from the wall. What have you guys done in similar scenarios where the offset is quite large. Have you built a framework behind the unit fixed to the wall?? Thanks

That will create quite a bit of leverage. You might be able to get away with a frame securely fixed to the wall
covered with an 18mm birch ply panel, and hang the cabinet off the panel.

You can attach a support chain to the unit from the wall. One each side if it's a large unit.

yes it would, then it can be determined which method of supporting the unit is feasible.
