oil burner fault

hi can anyone help me. I have an cosyman oil burner. It runs for 10 mins or so until it gets up to temp and cuts out but starts up again 2 or 3 mins later and goes again for another 10 min. It repeats this cycle again and again. Do i have the thermostat turned too low or do i have a bigger problem.

It sounds like your heating system is dispersing heat from the radiators in the way that its supposed to.....if you turn the wall thermostat down then the boiler should shut down for much longer intervals. You could also turn the boiler stat down if the radiators are extremely hot.
