Old kitchen ext is this asbestos?

You should get that tested. I would say yes. Should really leave well alone.
Crude test, but if you have any bits you can take outside and put a match to it. Will glow and not really burn if asbestos. Not a sure test though but I've done that on bits I found and were unsure. One was paper mache and burnt well. I was pleased with that result
