Probably the best guide I know to installing a chamber into an existing run here: http://www.pavingexpert.com/drain15.htm Just be careful with the old salt glazed pipes, they are very brittle and the joints will probably fall aprt if disturbed by any great amount.....
Wickes used to do a coupling from salt glazed to 110mm plastic, if they'll fit ok they may be cheaper than the 'flex seal' type with jubilee clips.
Chamfer the cut ends of the salt glazed, you need to avoid any sharp edges where material can catch and potentially cause a blockage. (Chamfer cut ends of new pipes as a matter of course, they'll be a pig to fit and will dislodge the gaskets in the joints if you dont!)
