Some good programmes there, some of them are on the satellite hannels at the moment.
Watched a couple of Citizen Smith the other week and the Professionals were on earlier

Sweeney and Z-Cars top notch! Todays crime ones are all hi-tech gizmo's or PC regulated with no threats or thumps!

Bootsie & Snudge -classic.
"hello, my name is Harry worth." and then does the window trick. Brilliant!

30 years ago there was a drama programme each Friday nights called, 'Kids'. We used to settle down with a few home brews and a big bag of sweets to watch it but for some reason my son, who was only a few weeks old, would always wake for a feed when the opening titles came on!

Used to like Armchair Theatre as well and Roald Dahl.

I like your choices you floosy you BUT..... Upstairs Downstairs?!?!?! Some things I think I best left in the past. :D

Its a Gordon Jackson thing. I was born in seventy four so a few of the programmes were before my time. The 80's were when TV was at its best IMO.

Upstairs Downstairs was repeated in the 80's and thats when me and my mum used to watch the repeats. For me it was all new... Ive got back into it... as I have the Sweeney and Minder.

A lot of it comes from the fact I went into the 80's as a 5 year old, and left it as a teenager. You absorb a lot in those 10 years, well I did anyway.

You absorb a lot in those 10 years,

Andy Pandy,
The Wooden Tops,
Bill & Ben,
Muffin the Mule,
The Interlude, (potters wheel),
Pinky & Perky.
Four Feather Falls,
Thunderbirds,
Joe-90,
Stingray,

They showed a load more black and white movies back then (seem to have gone out of vogue nowadays)

Bella Lugosi - Dracula films (oe of these really freaked me out  )
Vincent Price - Frankenstein
Lon Chaney junior - werewolf films.

Another one that got to me was "gaslight"
