I think you need to learn to count spicecat. United have just picked up their 38th major trophy today. Liverpool have 40, so like snico said even if they win next week they'll still be trailing in the wake of the mighty pool. Bow down before your masters mancs.
Major trophies are what counts son, unless you want to rewrite the rules to suit yourself. If you like you can think of it this way. After 20 years of appalling mismanagement, during which the mancs have enjoyed their most successful period ever, they still haven't caught up. If you want to start crowing think about that one. And realise that no team will ever get so far out ahead of the rest again as the reds were.
Most league cups, most uefa cups, most european cups. If you want to claim the title of English footballs most successful team you'll have to wait until you actually win more trophies than the mighty reds. Now that the one true king is back in his counting house that may be a lot longer than you may think.
