Hi that a great job, I wanted to do this to my conservatory but my council say they want footing of 1m and I got 600mm. Did you have any issue with your council?
 
Thank you Bloom, I didnt need to get planning for this mate. I had 600 - 650 footings too which is why i went with the lightweight roof.
 
The footings question is about Building Control, not Planning Permission. A solid roofed conservatory is no longer an exempt conservatory, so needs Building Control approval - specifically, they want to determine whether the footings and the wall structure are adequate for the roof.
 
Ahh of course, thankfully i did not need to worry too much, i had calcs done on this when i had my extensions done and with the clay ground i was told it was all ok.
