outdoor wall lamp that requires round flex

After much deliberation, wife and I were able to agree on an outdoor wall lamp. We already have 4 of a different type around the outside of the house but we need an additional one to cover a dark area near steps for Christmas visitors etc., and the other ones are from a prior decade and previous house owner, so we plan to change them all in time.

Annoyingly, this lamp, despite being a wall-lamp, requires outdoor-rated round flex and not T&E, as the cable is exposed for about 2cm. I wish they had designed it differently in that regard.
So I have picked up some 3 core pond flex 0.75mm 3183P which I am hoping will be suitable.

For this first one, we have a plasterboard area on the inside with a single switch already in place, so I will change that to a twin-switch.
My main question on this, is about terminating the flex on the inside, inside the wall/plasterboard cavity, or rather .. advice on how/where I should be putting a junction box (Wago box probably ?). There is about 1 meter between indoor light-switch and where the flex will come inside. I assume it would not be proper to run the round flex straight out of the indoor switch, and should be sticking to T&E as much as possible and then maintenance-free JB/connectors over to the flex, is that correct? 0.75mm is the only flex that will fit the gland on the switch.
I have just realised that 1.0 3183 will fit the gland, so I could use that instead of 0.75mm, if there is any concern around derating the circuit for example.

I don't think outdoor junction boxes will pass the wife test.

I will be using a 4.3w LED bulb.

Ah, that's a great question, one I had not considered, and... the answer is.. No!
There is a switch on the other side of this room (a small extension room with downlights in the ceiling.. and RSJs in the way I think) which does have neutrals in it because it already supplies an outside lamp. but I'm not sure I'd get the flex up and over the ceiling very easily.

I might have to ask a favour from a qualified friend who is currently chasing me for some computer help.. maybe I should pull my finger out and get back in touch.

There is a plug socket right where I need it on the inside. A fused spur is an option isn't it? with a separate switch at light-switch height where it needs to be? Something feels iffy about that though, such as somebody thinking they'd turned off the lighting circuits and this one still being live.
