Well that for a start is pointless. It should be an unfused switch as the fridge and freezer have fuses in their plugs. Those sockets should not be sitting on the floor like that either. They should be fixed to something, like the wall.
Yes, but it seems the 'fused switch' serves two separate single sockets, so assuming a 32 amp ring in 2.5mm2 that would be technically correct.
Obviously an unfused switch serving one double socket would have been far better, if only to avoid two appliances being fed by one 13 amp fuse.
It pains me as well to see those sockets sitting on the floor unfixed.
